Exceptional resort

Everything was exceptional. The hotel called me one night before my arrival to ask for my expected arrival time and my room choice preference. I experienced the fastest and smoothest check in. The room was great and you always find someone asking you about your feedback about your stay. The house keeping was great with a towel decoration every single day. A fruit dish was also renewed daily. The main and snack restaurants are all great with wide variety of food selection. You can have dinner at any of the a la carte restaurants they have. Me and my wife enjoyed the Italian, Indian and Spanish restaurants. The pools are heated and you can have a lot of activities daily with their amazing animation team. Also, you have the privilege of having a personal guide who will assist you with any issue during your stay. Overall, our experience with Mamlouk was great and surely we are going to come back.

Exceptional place with exceptional staff

We enjoyed everything about this holiday. The excellent communication prior to arrival with guest relations l, any questions were answered quickly. On arrival check in was quick and luggage transported to our rooms. Rooms were adequate and comfortable, had everything we needed, we don’t like to spend much time in our room so as long as it was clean and comfortable then we are happy. Our lovely room attendant Hamada ensured I had everything I needed and his towel art was fabulous. The gardens and pool areas are stunning. Sun loungers are easily accessed, wish they had like a padding on them for comfort but this was not so, I did witness on the beach some sun loungers with padding but this did cause trouble with other guests as there was only a handful of these. The continuous presence of lifeguards around the pool/beach ensured safety. Our lifeguard Mamoud greeted me daily with a smile and went out of his way to fetch my towels (I had a bad back), he brought me flowers daily and we regularly chatted, he speaks several languages, very passionate about his job and I looked forward to our daily discussions. The pool bar wss run by 2 great guys called Mohammed and Khalid, both worked so very hard and always smiling, drinks were nice too. If I had any criticism here it would be that they needed more bar staff around the pool serving guests. The lobby bar in the evening time was a place of relaxation and comfort. Karim served the best cocktails and young Mohammed was the best bar server and heloed me one evening when I was unwell. Lastly the food is fantastic. The choice of places to eat was great. We especially enjoyed the Mexican run by Moustafa and exceptional Barman Ahmed. Ahmed also served me my daily tea in the main restaurant and always knew my order. Other guys there that were exceptional was Ahmed (recently had baby girl) and Badr (both exceptional on restaurant customer satisfaction).

We didn’t like the presence of taxis outside the property, this has nothing to do with the hotel but made us feel uncomfortable each time we walked out. One even told us lies by saying the mall after 6 was only opened to Muslims and he would take us shopping elsewhere. Of course that wasn’t true as we walked over. Even a polite ‘no’ was met with verbal abuse from them. My advice is if you need a taxi, the hotel has their own, if you want to walk then be prepared for comments from cars outside. I also felt the evening entertainment was not great for adults. I did hear a female singer one evening and a man another evening and both very enjoyable but other than this I found it quite boring. We also wanted to book for next year and went to reception to be told by one of the male staff and every date from November onwards was fully booked which I knew myself wasn’t correct but I did find him quite abrupt with this and was not prepared to get into a discussion. There does not appear to be prices for any dates after November onwards in any of the booking sites.

Perfect!

Best hotel in Hurghada 100%. Everything was wonderful. The food, programs, staff! 5 star service! Always clean rooms, all day food, 8 different restaurants for dinner. Warm 29 celsius pool, so you can enjoy the stay also in winter months. Free gym fully equipped. Thank you for the whole hotel staff to make this holiday perfect. We will come back for sure.

Wonderful

Let me begin with the positives, as there were many aspects that left a positive impression. The staff at Hotel Sunrise Mamluk are truly exceptional – their friendliness and attentiveness made our stay incredibly enjoyable. From check-in to check-out, their warmth and hospitality were evident, and they went above and beyond to cater to our requests. Additionally, the overall cleanliness of the premises was commendable, creating a pleasant and hygienic environment. However, I would like to bring to your attention a few areas that could be improved upon. Firstly, the interior of the rooms and other facilities seemed a bit outdated, giving a somewhat antiquated feel. This did not significantly impact the functionality of the accommodations, but a modernized touch could enhance the overall experience for guests. Moreover, our stay in building 27 left us with mixed feelings. The view was not as expected, primarily due to the aqua park obstructing the scenery. On the other side, overlooking the pool provided a better view, but the bright lights emanating from the main building were somewhat intrusive, affecting the overall tranquility. It would be great if these aspects could be addressed for a more balanced and enjoyable view for guests. Despite these considerations, I must express my gratitude for the excellent service and the efforts made to accommodate our needs. The warmth and kindness displayed by your team truly made our stay memorable. In fact, we were so pleased with the overall coziness of our experience that we decided to extend our accommodation. In conclusion, thank you, Hotel Sunrise Mamluk, for providing us with a good experience overall. I believe that with some enhancements, your establishment could reach even greater heights. I look forward to seeing the positive changes during my future visits.

Beautiful hotel with excellent staf, good atmosphere. Great stay!!

The people who work in the hotel make you feel very welcome. They do everything for you and always with a big smile. The food is fresh and tasteful. There are also 7 a la carte restaurants where you can enjoy your meal without paying any extra. The room was nicely decorated and large. Bathroom and shower very nice. We come back at the end of our holiday.

An excellent hotel in all regards!

I had an outstanding time at this wonderful hotel! The staff were - without exception! - extremely kind and cooperative. The kindness always felt genuine (i.e. was not directed at receiving tips), which is rare. The hotel itself is beautiful. A long alley with houses on each side leading directly to the private and generous beach. It was also wonderful to have 8 à la carte restaurants, the Indian and Mexican were especially good in my view. Hesham and Sayed at the reception were particularly great. A small hickup at the beginning of the stay was resolved immediately and to my full satisfaction, and they were understanding and kind throughtout, both extremely professional! I would also like to mention the client relationship team, which was accomodating and kind at all times, a genuine pleasure to interact with. I can only recommend this hotel to everyone, and intend to return at some point.

Exceptional service, 9 days stay

Nice resort, nice people. Wide variety of good quality food, lots of fruit and vegetable to choose from too. You can book online dinner in advance and choose from many al carte restaurants here. We definitely reccomend The Mongolian grill. Daily room service, beach bars, daily and evening program for adults and kids too. You can enter water from beach directly, or from molo. At reception you can book taxi and go and explore Hurghada by yourselves, or book some trips directly via hotel. Rep Misa regurally check on us, if we need anything. Hotel is a bit outdated and rooms need renovation, but the service here is exceptional ! Over all, really loved time spening there, well reccomended.

Do not understand why molo is opened from 9.00am only. We were told on molo by guy working there "due to environmental policy", but when we asked what does it mean, could not be explained (this was on last day of our stay). The visibility in water on reef is the best from 7.00am till 9.00am, if there are no waves and level of water is the highest this time, so you do not damage the reef there. Later is not clear, due to sand and trip boats starting from molo there. Also they close it at 5pm, which seems to be early and should be reconsidered.
